Last semester several events occurred on and off campus, both local and global in nature, that impacted our campus in diverse ways. How faculty and staff experience these events - and subsequently the campus climate - will differ based on one's race, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, religion, ability and more.

This month's Soup and Substance focuses on the different experiences of faculty and staff. Come hear their voices and explore ways to further strengthen our efforts to build a more diverse and inclusive Ryerson University.

Panelists:

  • Darrell Bowden, Guest Moderator - Education and Awareness Coordinator, Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
  • Grace-Edward Galabuzi - Professor, Department of Politics and Public Administration
  • Kelly Train - Vice President of Campaigns and Acting Unit #1 Chief Steward, CUPE3904; Contract Lecturer, Department of Sociology
  • Alan Kaplan - Professor, Department of Accounting and Finance
