Join Dr. Wendy Cukier, founder and academic director of the Diversity Institute, for the opening keynote at the CAPLA 2025 Conference on May 27. Her address, “RPL’s Role in Diversity, Inclusion & Innovation in Canada,” will set the stage for discussions on how recognition of prior learning (RPL) can support more inclusive and innovative approaches to employment and education.
The conference marks CAPLA’s first in-person gathering since 2019 and will explore the theme RPL in Rural Spaces: Pathways to Sustainable Employment through presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities. Dr. Cukier’s keynote will highlight the intersection of RPL with equity, rural development, and workforce sustainability.
