Hi everyone! My name is Navroop Dhami and I am a Research Assistant here at Toronto Metropolitan University. During my BBA undergrad, I began to understand why research is vital in any environment. I came across multiple businesses/organizations that wanted to improve their internal practices and strategies to create a better environment for their employees, whilst ensuring a better future for the company. Getting involved in these research projects has allowed me to understand the importance behind analytics and how we are able to continuously improve ourselves and our practices. I believe that the proof is in the pudding. With the data that is conducted, analyzed, and interpreted, we can truly showcase shortcomings and successes behind any practice. I believe that by quantifying the data, the numbers truly help businesses understand where they are able to succeed and understand where they can improve within their workplace. I enjoy working within the research industry due to our ability to use quantitative and qualitative measures to help businesses achieve a better tomorrow. When I’m not researching or analyzing, I’m doing anything to keep myself active. I enjoy being outside as much as possible. During the spring/summer, I love to hike and during the winter, I love to ski and skate!
