Before joining the Diversity Institute, Sarah supported gender-transformative programming across Africa, Asia and the Pacific, and workplace equity, diversity and inclusion efforts. She has experience managing and coordinating projects, and has participated in and supported policy development, strategic planning, capacity building, research and gender analysis and knowledge mobilization.
Across her previous roles she has worked within and in collaboration with many different sectors, including international and national non-governmental organisations, community-based organisations, the United Nations system, police and military personnel, academic research institutions, consultants and national governments.
Sarah holds a bachelor of arts degree joint honours in history and international development studies from McGill University and a master of social development in international social development (specialization) from the University of New South Wales in Australia.
