A passionate advocate for social justice and anti-oppression, Manal has over a decade of experience in non-profits, working with refugees, immigrants and other marginalised communities, both locally and internationally. She has extensive experience in program management, coordination and delivery with a focus on community development and economic security. She joined the Diversity Institute to coordinate both the Newcomer and Women’s Entrepreneurship Hubs while also supporting additional DI entrepreneurship projects Canada wide. She possesses a B.A. in Political Science from McMaster University and is currently completing her Master in Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Queen’s University.
