Hot water restored at RAC, Pool expected to reopen June 27

The steam shutdown that impacted the operation of the RAC pool and hot water in our showers (and elsewhere on campus) is nearing its end. We are pleased to report that hot water has returned to our showers as of last week and that the pool is expected to reopen on June 27, 2025, as originally scheduled. 

We are also pleased to report that, while the pool was offline for the steam shutdown, we have worked to double-up on the closure by completing regular pool deck and system maintenance that would otherwise require its own shutdown every several years.

While the pool is expected to reopen per our regular schedule on Friday, June 27, pool users are asked to check the pool schedule webpage for confirmation before attending.
