peerScholar

peerScholar is a customizable peer assessment tool. The tool allows instructors to set up individual, group or case study assignment submissions for students to peer review. This is done through three phases: creating, assessing, and reflecting.

  • Integrated with D2L Brightspace
  • Customizable activities
  • Peer to peer grading
  • Develops critical and creative thinking
  • Self assessment and reflection

About 

peerScholar allows students to submit any form of multimedia or written assignment and then presents them with a customizable grading system created by the instructor. Students are then able to grade a predefined amount of their peer’s assignments. After the assessing phase is complete, they are able to review the feedback provided by their peers and can be given the option to revise their original submission. Once the process is complete, the instructor or teaching assistant can rate the assignments submitted and the quality of the feedback they provided to others.
