Join Melissa Taylor for a workshop on exploring ancestral wisdom through the expression of an art collage for Black Carleton & X University community members. Colour, shapes, and patterns can be a beautiful expression of what cannot be put in words. About We Heal Together

We Heal Together is a support group for Black folks looking for alternative community healing methods. This group acknowledges the systemic barriers and erasure of Black folks in survivor-led spaces. As Black people, our experiences with sexual trauma and hypersexualization are influenced by colonialism and anti-Black racism. Healing from our traumas requires alternative methods within a closed safe space for the Black community.

We Heal Together is a collaboration between Casandra Fullwood, Consent Comes First, and Carleton University Sexual Assault Support Centre.
