Consent Comes First, Office of Sexual Violence Support and Education Team provides free, confidential, trauma-informed, healing-centred support to Toronto Metropolitan community members affected by sexual violence and other forms of gender-based violence. We create opportunities for people affected by violence to cultivate safety, healing and leadership on their own terms. Together with campus partners and the broader community, CCF provides education, programming and advocacy to foster a world free from gender-based violence.

Hi, my name is Rena Kim (she/her), a settler and Korean woman. I am a Sexual Violence Specialist at Consent Comes First. I support campus community members affected by sexual violence and gender-based violence under an intersectional, survivor-centred, and trauma-informed approach. We can work together to navigate academic considerations, find resources that best accommodates your need, and explore and manage the impacts of trauma. If you choose to report, I can support you through that process; you choose what is best for you. I recognize that survivors are the experts of their own lives, and I can work collaboratively to be an advocate supporting you through your healing process towards justice.
