To submit a Request for Academic Consideration you must sign on with your Toronto Metropolitan lD.
Grade and Standing Appeals (Policy 168): Online Appeal Submission Portal:
- Academic grade and standing appeals for all levels of appeal must be submitted via the online Appeal Submission Portal.
- To submit a grade and/or standing appeal at the Department/School, Faculty or Senate Level, you must sign-in to the online appeal submission portal with your Toronto Metropolitan University Student ID.
For appeals that have been approved by the relevant Director/Chair for late submission or for submission outside the online portal guidelines (opens in new window) , use the Academic Grade and Standing Appeal Form (external link)

Academic Misconduct Appeal (Policy 60)
Students have the right to appeal the finding and/or the assigned/recommended penalty for Academic Misconduct. Students wishing to appeal must do so within ten (10) business days of receiving their Facilitated/Non-Facilitated Discussion decision letter.
- First level appeals should be directed to the Academic Integrity Council (AIC) through the AIO office via the AIC Academic Misconduct Appeal portal.
- Final level appeals should be directed to the Senate Office via the (google form) Senate Level Academic Misconduct Appeal Google Form (external link)
