Want to do more than design it? Want to build it, too? The Toronto Met Architectural Science Society (arc.soc) (external link) helps support and showcase student initiatives and administers considerable funds to enable student initiatives.

Freedom by Design™, the AIAS community service program in partnership with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), uses the talents of architecture students to radically impact the lives of people in their community through modest design and construction solutions. The program embraces efforts to provide both design-build and engagement solutions to address 5 barriers:

Want to use your voice to advocate for your classmates? The ACU is the official course union and serves students through issues related to academia, networking and school culture. The ACU represents students on the Departmental Council.

TimberFever® is a design-build competition presented by Moses Structural Engineers which brings architecture and civil engineering students from universities across Canada together to build a life-size structure out of wood.
