Robot & CNC Lab

In the Robot and Computer Numerical Control Lab, a student examines pieces of intricately cut wood, which are laid out on a large work table.

This lab is designated for advanced computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) using our 6-axis robot and 3-axis computer numerical control (CNC) machines. With these advanced technologies, you will learn how to create topographic maps and components for three-dimensional models, and conduct research related to full-scale design build projects.  Fourth-year students in technologically-related courses and graduate students will have the opportunity to create cutting-edge digital designs using the robot. The lab is open to all students.
