Dr. Mark Gorgolewski, PhD

Toronto Met’s Department of Architectural Science is the only school in Canada with a unique interdisciplinary model that integrates across three disciplines: architecture, building science and project management. Working together across disciplines, we merge architectural theory with contemporary and emergent design ideas and technologies with a commitment to the social, cultural and aesthetic impact of architecture.

As a student here, you will benefit from our program’s unique structure, one that ensures you understand every stage of a project, from concept to completion. In the classroom and studio, your perspective on design will deepen through continual engagement with multiple points of view—from your talented peers to our renowned faculty, industry experts and guest lecturers. Out in the world, you will be immersed in experiential activities, including research projects, co-op placements, travel, competitions, community engagement and more.

We are proud of the impactful, cross-disciplinary culture that we have created. I invite you to learn more about us.
