Law + Architecture: Reimagining Lincoln Alexander Law

Date
November 28, 2025
Time
12:30 PM EST - 2:00 PM EST

An exhibition of student designs for the law school’s future home

Over the Fall 2025 term, law and architecture students worked together to reimagine the possibilities for 277 Victoria Street, the future home of the Lincoln Alexander School of Law. Adjacent to Sankofa Square, the building represents a gateway to the university and the city.

This collaboration explores how physical spaces can embody a deep commitment to justice, inclusion, and community-building—values integral to the future of legal education. Participating teams include students in ARC 920: Advanced Architecture Studio (led by DAS Chair Prof. Lisa Landrum and Marcin Kędzior) and JUR 235: Architecture and Law (led by Prof. David Sandomierski).

Join us to view architectural drawings, models, and vision statements—and add your voice to the conversation. Students will pitch ideas and answer questions in a social setting. Refreshments provided.

  • Open critiques (public): 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
  • Exhibition + reception: 12:30–2:00 p.m.
  • Location: ARC 202 (The Pit), TMU Architecture Building, 325 Church Street
