arc.soc Student Lounge
Created in 2025 with DAS support and the leadership of Architectural Student Society Principal Christine Ho - with Evelyn Foster, Tiffany Chui, Camila Ramírez Vargas, and Mars Makdissi - this lounge transformed a previously windowless classroom into a light-filled hub for student well-being, realization, and empowerment. Adjacent to the fourth-floor David E. Handley studios, the arc-soc lounge was realized with a TMU Student Initiative Fund, and substantial contributions of donated lounge furniture from Keilhauer (external link) , and kitchenette seating by Steelcase (external link) .
