Fall Admission Decision Release Dates

We know it’s hard to wait! Our goal is to provide you with an admission decision as quickly as possible after you submit your complete application. You can find your admission decision in your ChooseTMU Applicant Portal.

The majority of admission decisions will be made, on an ongoing basis, between February and the end of May.

Reminder: Grades-Plus selective programs consider non-academic criteria/factors such as interviews, auditions, essays, portfolios, etc. in the selection process in addition to academic achievement. This means that it may take a little longer for admission decisions to be released. The release dates for Grades-Plus programs noted below are provided as a guideline only and are subject to change.

  • If you’ve applied to a part-time program or for advanced level admission (e.g. direct entry to second or third year) you will receive an admission decision beginning in the spring. Admission decisions for these programs are released on an ongoing basis.
  • Wait Lists: If you applied by February 1 you will be notified by late May if you have been placed on a Wait List. If you are placed on a Wait List, you may be contacted at any time up to the beginning of classes regarding an Offer, subject to space availability.
