Pending successful preliminary accreditation, applications for our MD program will open in October 2024 for September 2025. Subscribe to our mailing list (external link)  for updates.

In July 2025, our School of Medicine will welcome our first cohort of 105 residents. We have partnered with some of the GTA’s leading health systems and organizations to offer a diverse range of residency training sites through our clinical affiliates. Additional partnerships are being established with leading primary care practices in Brampton and surrounding areas.

As with our MD program, our residency programs will be rooted in community-driven care and cultural respect and safety, with EDI, decolonization and health equity embedded throughout.

Our residency programs

In keeping with our vision to prepare the primary care physicians of the future to confidently and compassionately care for diverse communities, we are committed to offering residency programs in Family Medicine and generalist specialties.
