Grounded in local partnerships, the School drives clinical, educational, and research excellence across Brampton, Mississauga, and Caledon—strengthening access to care and training future-ready physicians for Peel Region.
Training Peel Region’s future healthcare workforce
TMU’s School of Medicine is training healthcare professionals from the Peel Region, for the Peel Region. By educating students directly within the community, we ensure they learn firsthand the unique healthcare needs of the population they are most likely to serve post-graduation.
Every investment in the School is a direct investment in Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon’s future healthcare workforce.
Regional clinical partnerships
Through an extensive network of nearly 124 primary care clinical sites and major hospital systems across Peel Region and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), our accredited residency programs combine community- and hospital-based training to hone clinical skills while directly improving patient access to care.
