Lu Wang’s research areas include neighbourhood and aging, immigrant health and healthcare, transnational healthcare practice, COVID-19 and spatial mobility and ethnic retailing. Her methodological expertise includes Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analysis, mapping, statistical modelling and mixed-method approaches combining qualitative and spatial-quantitative methods.
