Dr. Jessica Mudry

Dr. Jessica J. Mudry is Professor and Chair of the School of Professional Communication at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Creative School, and Director of the Healthcare User Experience (HUE) Lab in partnership with St. Michael’s Hospital. Her research integrates communication, design, and health technologies to advance equity and user-centred innovation in clinical environments. A Canada-based scholar with international teaching appointments at the École des hautes études en santé publique (France), Dr. Mudry’s work bridges medical humanities, UX engineering, and public health communication to reimagine how healthcare spaces and tools serve diverse users.
