Billing Units

Tuition fees are based on the number of billing units of enrollment.  The majority of pre-clinical courses meet for three hours per week and are one billing unit, but some courses can be up to three billing units. Midwifery clinical courses are typically five billing units. The number of billing units can be found in the course descriptions in the undergraduate calendar.

Additional Expenses

Textbooks

Required textbooks can cost up to $1,000 per year.

Relocation

While the majority of students are placed in the geographic region of their choice, there is a possibility that you may need to relocate for some placements. If you do need to relocate, you will need to pay for your own travel and living expenses.

Prior to entering MWF 320, Complications and Consultation, you will need to obtain a baby scale.

You will be responsible for paying the costs of meeting practice requirements where those costs are not included in tuition or ancillary fees. This includes:

  • CPR training
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) training
  • Health screening
  • Mask fit testing
  • Criminal reference check
