There are a number of communication tools in Brightspace that make it easy for instructors and students to contact each other for various purposes.

Discussions and groups provide ways for students to engage with each other, including collaborating on projects. Notifications, email and announcements provide venues for the instructor to share timely information with the class or individual students.
