My name is Olivia, I am in my final year in the Nutrition and Food program at TMU and have previously completed a degree in Psychology. Learning about anything relating to health and wellbeing is one of my primary passions. And I am excited to be working as a Health and Wellbeing Promoter that can help support the wellbeing journey of the TMU student community.
My name is Alex and I go by she/her pronouns. I am currently completing my final year of the BSW program after graduating from college with my addiction and mental health/SSW diploma as a mature student. I just gave birth to my 4th child a month ago and as a single mother of 4 I know how hard it is for single parents to manage and maintain their academics while balancing so much already. I truly believe that educational support in post secondary is a necessity and helps single parents stay enrolled in school and that access to higher education is the key to ending inter-generational poverty in our communities.
My name is Anna and I'm currently in my 2nd year of Media Production at TMU. I'm on the Health Promotion team as a Digital Content Creator for the fall/winter 2023 semester! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, yoga, listening to music, and exploring the city!
My name is Malaika (she/her) and I am a Peer Support facilitator within TMU's Health Promotion Programs. I'm currently completing my bachelors of social work at TMU and will be providing peer support to current TMU students through my role.
My name is Shereny (she/her) and I am a Peer Support Facilitator within TMU’s Health Promotions Programs. I’m currently completing my Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management majoring in Global Management at TMU and will be providing peer support to current TMU students in my position.
My name is Aishwin Jeevothayan and I am a third-year Computer Science student at Toronto Metropolitan University. I currently serve as a Web and Graphic Designer for TMU's Health Promotions Programs, where I focus on creating clean, user-friendly digital experiences through thoughtful design and development.
