Chris Sewrattan is a criminal lawyer in Toronto, where he conducts trials and appeals.
Chris has taught criminal procedure at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law since 2021. He edits the hearsay chapter in McWilliams' Canadian Criminal Evidence, one of the leading evidence texts in Canada. He has published on criminal procedure, evidence, and privacy in Canadian law journals. He holds Masters of Law and Juris Doctor degrees from Osgoode Hall Law School and an Honours Bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of Toronto.
Chris is most proud of his students, who have gone on to become accomplished Crown Attorneys, defence lawyers, and, along the way, judicial law clerks.
