Donald G. Bowman Tax Moot

Donald G. Bowman Tax Moot group shot

The Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot (external link) , Canada's premier competitive moot on taxation, pays tribute to the Honourable Donald G.H. Bowman, former Chief Justice of the Tax Court of Canada. Since 2017, the moot has been bilingual, allowing arguments in either of Canada's official languages, with interpreters provided. The moot takes form as an appeal of a real life problem to the fictitious “Bowman Moot Court for Tax Appeals”, and students compete over the course of two days.
