Areas of ExpertiseHello my name is Disha Alam. I have been a registered midwife for almost a decade. I have worked in various communities from Durham, Ottawa, Halton, GTA and now in Hamilton as a Hospitalist Midwife at McMaster Children's Hospital. Besides working as a midwife and teaching at TMU, I teach AOM ESW, and participate in precepting midwifery students and teaching at McMaster MEP during their third year advanced clinical skills. When I am not working I enjoy catching up with new medical research, leisurely reading, traveling and spending time with my family, friends and my dog.
