Accommodation Deep Dive: "Extensions"

Date
March 17, 2023
Time
11:00 a.m. - 12:20 p.m. ET

In Accommodation Deep Dive sessions we delve into the nuances of a "common accommodation" and talk about what it is, what it isn't, what it does, and how it can be applied.

In this session we take on "extensions", an accommodation that is applied to assignments. Kate Cressman, AAS Lead Facilitator, and Jenny Sampirisi, Learning and Inclusion Education Developer, will address common confusions associated with this accommodation and provide participants with tools to communicate with students when negotiating extensions.

Facilitated by:

  • Jenny Sampirisi (AAS)
  • Kate Cressman (AAS)

This event is part of the AAS Teach & Talk Sessions.
