The Academic Integrity Office (AIO) is a neutral party and information resource that seeks to promote a culture of integrity and educational excellence by informing, inspiring and educating the members of the Toronto Metropolitan University community.

The AIO exists to ensure that  (PDF file) Policy 60: Academic Integrity is carried out in a fair and transparent way and to provide educational resources to the Toronto Metropolitan University community regarding academic integrity and misconduct. The AIO provides guidance and support to students and decision makers and ensures that all parties are aware of their rights and responsibilities. The AIO is neutral with respect to all cases and is neither an advocate for students or faculty nor a decision-maker in the process.

Curriculum Specialists provide individualized support and guidance to program representatives and teams working through all processes guided by the Institutional Quality Assurance Process (IQAP).

We provide support in various areas, including Course Design, Assessment, Content Delivery, Blended Learning, Accessibility, Collaborating with TA/GAs, Technology-Enhanced Teaching, and Inclusive Teaching.

To arrange a consultation with one of our team members regarding course design and teaching strategies, kindly fill out the following form. Presentation technology, including podiums, rental equipment, and Zoom

Media Services is ensuring all classrooms are ready for a full return to campus. They also offer online training (Podium training series, and New Podium Training video (external link) ), as well as consultations and demos. You can contact them at  If you haven’t done so and require it, activate your OneCard for podium access.

If you plan to connect your own laptop in the classroom, ensure the cabling provided in the room (or your own) is compatible and that you have any other equipment  you may need. If you need assistance, contact Media Services.

We know and acknowledge that a lot is going on in the world and that it can sometimes feel overwhelming to try and figure these things out on your own. This is why we are introducing Teach Together on Thursdays, an opportunity for one-on-one support for expanding anti-racism educational practices at TMU.

These confidential drop-in hours, led by Renee Ferguson, Educational Developer at the Centre, will provide support in resource-sharing, course and instructional design, assessment design and support, help with facilitating meaningful conversations in the classroom and extending anti-racism education beyond the classroom.

Drop-in hours will be held every Thursday, from September 7 to December 7 between 1 and 2:30 p.m. (by appointment only). To schedule your time, please email
