About event:

Online collection and assessment of student work is essential when teaching remotely. The Assignments tool in Brightspace provides structure to that process, from setting due dates to publishing feedback.

 

In this session, we will cover the basics of setting up Grades, creating an assignment submission folder, viewing student submissions, and providing grades and feedback.

 

Topics include:

Creating Grade Items and Grade Categories

Creating Individual and Group Assignments

Evaluating Assignment submissions

Publishing Assignment feedback

 

This workshop assumes basic familiarity with navigating D2L Brightspace tools, and that participants have created a course shell.
