Funding Opportunities
Hiring Ted Rogers Co-op students allows businesses to apply for the Student Work Placement Program (SWPP) (external link, opens in new window) . This Federal program provides wage subsidies to eligible employers who hire post-secondary students in an accredited co-op program.
Employers hiring eligible students may receive a wage subsidy up to 50% of the wages (to a maximum of $5,000) for each placement. "Net new" requirements apply to businesses of 100 or more employees.

Changemakers Fund
The Changemakers Fund offers Ted Rogers School undergraduate and graduate students the chance to work with charitable registered organizations in the not-for-profit sector. Students gain valuable hands-on experience, while organizations receive fresh perspectives and the capacity needed to advance key projects.
- Funding: Covers up to 70% of total co-op work term costs.
- Duration: Ranges from four (4) to eight (8) months.

This is a refundable tax credit available to employers who hire students enrolled in a co-operative education program at an Ontario university or college.
