Changemakers Fund
The Changemakers Fund helps eligible registered charitable organizations benefit from the new skills, perspectives and talent that co-op students bring to the workplace, while creating opportunities for Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) students to gain meaningful experience supporting organizations working toward positive impact.
Through Changemakers, students can participate in internships with charitable and not-for-profit organizations—a sector that is often underrepresented as a career path for young professionals. These experiences provide students with valuable exposure to mission-driven work, allowing them to apply their skills to initiatives that create meaningful community impact while developing as future leaders.
Beyond the internship, Ted Rogers School students will go on to work with, support or serve registered charitable organizations throughout their careers; this experience equips them with perspectives and skills that will benefit them long after graduation.

Benefits
The Changemakers Fund helps registered charitable organizations access high-quality Ted Rogers School co-op talent by reimbursing up to 70% of internship costs to the employer partner. Placements may range from four (4) to eight (8) months in duration and can be used to pay for undergraduate co-op students or MBA interns.
By participating in the program, organizations can access top-tier student talent with newly developed business skills and fresh perspectives. Co-op students can help address organizational priorities, fill capacity gaps, support strategic initiatives and contribute to projects that may otherwise be difficult to resource. The program enables organizations to align student talent with their evolving needs while investing in the next generation of socially conscious professionals.
Eligibility
Eligible organizations may receive reimbursement of up to 70% of a student's internship costs, making it more affordable to bring talented students onto their teams while providing impactful learning experiences.
To qualify for the Changemakers Fund, organizations must satisfy the following criteria:
- Be a registered charitable organization recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
- Employ a minimum of five full-time staff and demonstrate at least four years of organizational activity.
- Meet all eligibility requirements of the Ted Rogers Co-op and Internship Program.

- The deadline to submit for Fall 2026 hiring is Friday, August 14, 2026

Participating organizations are required to submit the following:
- Hiring documentation (offer letter or contract)
- Complete a student evaluation at the end of the term
- Proof of final payment to the student
- A document for reimbursement
