Dina Maxwell is the Chief Privacy Officer and Intellectual Property Lead at PwC Canada, where
she directs the firm’s privacy, data protection, and IP programs. With more than 15 years of
legal and business experience, she advises on complex issues at the intersection of law,
technology, and strategy. Dina began her career in private practice, developing a hybrid litigation
and privacy practice before joining PwC’s Office of the General Counsel. A recognized thought
leader, she frequently lectures, publishes, and speaks on privacy, data governance, and
leadership. She is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of professionals and
advancing equity and diversity in the legal and technology fields. Dina holds Fellow of
Information Privacy (FIP), CIPM, CIPP/C, and CIPP/US designations from the International
Association of Privacy Professionals and serves as a contract lecturer at the Lincoln Alexander
School of Law.
