Chris Rudnicki is a criminal appeal lawyer practising in Toronto. He sees his work as a means of achieving just results for individual clients while contributing to the progressive development of the legal system as a whole. In addition to his practice, Chris writes and teaches in hopes of helping identify doctrinal currents that might be navigated towards a more humane, compassionate, and equitable criminal law.

Chris has taught at LASL since 2021. He currently teaches Advanced Criminal Law. He has supervised directed studies courses in sentencing, the Charter, and facial recognition technology. Chris also serves as head coach for the award-winning Lincoln Alexander Gale Cup Moot Team.

“The key challenge for progressive advocates is learning to translate lived experience and critical theory into the language of law. I am thrilled to help train the next generation of legal change-makers to meet this challenge at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law.”
