About this event:

Active learning has been identified as one of the seven principles of good practice in undergraduate education. When active learning is employed in the classroom, there is less focus placed on the instructor, who instead acts as a facilitator of learning rather than the sole determinant of course content and structure.

In this online workshop from the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, participants will explore key principles and common examples of active learning, as well as strategies for making their labs, studios, or lecture halls, and other learning spaces conducive to active learning.

Facilitated by:

Sally Goldberg Powell, Teaching Resources & Technologies Specialist

Kris Erickson, Educational Developer, Experiential Learning
