Welcome to the Faculty of Science’s Department of Mathematics at Toronto Metropolitan University. We’re a close-knit department offering innovative academic programs. We are one of Ontario’s only graduate programs designed for applied math, and one of Canada’s first schools to introduce a specialization in financial mathematics. Our research spans pure and applied mathematics, divided into three key areas: financial mathematics, biomathematics and fluids, and discrete mathematics and networks.
