Felipe Bayma B. Rolim

Research Fellow

Dr. Felipe Bayma Barbosa Rolim is a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Urban Energy (CUE) at Toronto Metropolitan University. He holds a Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, with a focus on power systems. His research interests include transmission and distribution system analysis, data analytics, and distributed energy resource planning.

Dr. Rolim has contributed to numerous R&D projects in collaboration with industry partners, including Hydro One, the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), and CPFL Energia. He has completed international research internships at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Toronto Metropolitan University. At CUE, he supports the development of innovative tools and methodologies for modern power grids, contributing to a clean, affordable, reliable, and secure energy future. He is a member of the IEEE Power & Energy Society.
