Yearly in August

BDO provides you with training on the fundamentals of public accounting firms and its processes while working with mock client files, CaseWare and Taxprep software as well as financial statements, working papers and tax papers. The BDO Canada team also facilitates networking opportunities and provides details on their recruitment process.

Bootcamps has partnered with a number of organizations over various terms including Traction on Demand (Fall 2021 and Winter 2022), Slalom Consulting (Winter and Summer 2021) and Deloitte (Fall 2019) to offer Masterclass sessions on Salesforce. These series are focused on providing a foundational understanding on Business Consulting and Salesforce.com (Technology) Development, with the intention of enabling students to understand the role that technology plays in business operations, especially sales.

Microsoft Canada’s Canada Skills Program partners with institutions to deliver a Work Relevant Experience program through an asynchronous learning model. This program aimed to provide students with a meaningful experience to build work-ready confidence while responding to the pressures of the workforce market with relevant training. CIBC was a new partner for this program and provided opportunities to network and learn more about relevant industries by leaders within their organization. This program also included in-person events and opportunities.

Using Sales Cloud and Agentforce, they’ll create a functional prototype that shows how intelligent agents improve workflows, customer experiences, and business outcomes—while thinking and working like Salesforce consultants.

As part of the masterclass, participants will engage in an exciting Hackathon challenge centered around Agentforce for TMU, inspired by the concept of Hubert. The goal is to design and prototype a smart, AI-powered agent using Salesforce’s Agentforce platform that serves the needs of students, faculty, or the TMU community.
