In this session, participants will delve into quantitative research methods within the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), focusing specifically on surveys and questionnaires. Attendees will learn about the design and implementation of effective surveys, including best practices for question formulation and distribution. The workshop will also address the advantages and challenges of using quantitative methods, as well as techniques for analyzing survey data and interpreting results. Participants will leave equipped with strategies to leverage quantitative findings to enhance their teaching and improve student learning outcomes.
