About this event:

Educators at TMU are dedicated to creating inclusive, accessible learning experiences for all students, including those with disabilities. However, learning about, implementing, and tweaking accessibility guidelines, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) methods, and personalizing learning for individual students has long been a challenge. Generative AI (GenAI) offers a promising opportunity to streamline the implementation of these accessible practices, making it more feasible and efficient for educators to meet diverse student needs.

This presentation will explore how GenAI can support educators in various facets, including administration, instruction, and personalized learning. Participants will learn how GenAI can create tailored educational content, adapt assessments to meet individual needs, and provide real-time feedback, embodying a personalized Universal Design approach.Join us to discuss the future of GenAI in creating more accessible learning environments and reflect on how you can leverage AI to improve accessibility in your teaching practices.
