About this event

From the smallest seminar to the largest lecture, offering opportunities for students to provide feedback to their peers can add value and depth to the learning experience. However, this can be difficult to implement, particularly in larger classes. As part of Peer Evaluation Week, we welcome the teaching community to join us for this interactive opportunity to experiment with tech-enabled peer evaluation tools currently supported by TMU that can help streamline peer evaluation process

As a participant, you will engage in two simulated scenarios where you will utilize different tools from a student's perspective. Then, we'll provide a behind-the-scenes look at the setup for both scenarios. Time for questions and comments regarding using such technologies across various disciplines will also be provided.

For those interested in discussing peer evaluation and the future of such tools at TMU in more depth, we also welcome you to join the Let's Talk About Peer Evaluation! town hall event on Wednesday, November 15.

Facilitated by:

  • Sally Goldberg Powell, Instructional Technologist
  • Danielle Moed, Educational Developer
  • Mirela Barbulescu, Instructional Technology Specialist
  • Stephanie Goetz, Manager

This session is brought to you by the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) and Computing and Communications Services (CCS).
