Join us for a full day of events for TA/GAs and graduate students interested in teaching. This year's symposium will be held in-person in DCC Room 707/709. Come to network with peers and take away valuable tips, tools and strategies for carrying out your teaching duties in the upcoming year. See the schedule of events below and register now!

  • 9:30 AM : Welcome and intro to GTDP programming
  • 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM : Keynote Speaker: Yukari Seko is an assistant professor at the School of Professional Communication and an adjunct scientist at Bloorview Research Institute, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. 
  • 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM : Panel Award winning TAs 
  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM : Lunch (Networking Bingo)
  • 1:30PM - 2:30 PM : Concurrent sessions: A Day in the Life of a TA/GA and Thriving as a TA/GA
  • 2:45 PM - 4:00 PM : Closing Remarks and networking event

  • Face masks are encouraged for in-person workshops.
  • The concurrent session at 1:30 pm are eligible towards the workshop component of Level 1 of the GTDP
