About this event

In this session, learn more about blended learning models and explore ways to connect learning spaces. Extend your skills in teaching with technology by intentionally improving access and flexibility for you and your students in regards to time, pace and place. Using a learning loop exercise, participants will be given the opportunity to consider ways of structuring learning spaces so that learning can flow between online and in-person environments.

Facilitated by:

  • David Arromba, Learning Design Specialist
  • Sally Goldberg Powell, Instructional Technologist
  • Nada Savicevic, Educational Developer

Excellence in Teaching Program (ETP) Workshop Series

The Excellence in Teaching Program (ETP), is designed by the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching to provide faculty with opportunities to enhance the impact of their teaching, and participate in a community of educators committed to excellence and equity in teaching and learning. As part of the ETP framework, participants attend a total of five workshops. ETP workshops are open to the entire teaching community, and will evolve to meet the needs and interests of faculty over time. Learn more about the program.

This event is also part of the Blending for Flexibility Workshop Series.

About the Blending for Flexibility Workshop Series:

This friendly, interactive workshop series is for faculty and instructors interested in learning more about blended learning models and strategies. Applying these approaches can be an opportunity, even in traditional in-person classes, to provide you and your students with more flexibility in terms of scheduling, learning activities, and assessments. Join us as we explore how your students can connect to course content, you, and their peers across a variety of learning spaces by applying principles of blended learning.
