Accessibility on Campus
Access Tours are designed for Toronto Metropolitan University community members with mobility impairments but also aims to address aspects of inclusion for community members with non-physical disabilities as well. All tours are led by students and staff who identify as having disabilities and who benefit from these barrier-free routes and spaces on a regular basis.
Available upon request, Access Tours provide community members with:
- the best barrier-free routes of travel around campus, both indoors and out;
- TTC Wheel-Trans pick-up and drop-off points; and
- locations of elevators, accessible washroom facilities and information.
Access Tour Videos
The following videos provide highlights of the Access Tour.
Video 1 takes you through the accessible routes of the following connected buildings: the Student Learning Centre (SLC), the Library, Kerr Hall South (KHS) and the Rogers Communications Centre (RCC).
Video 2 tours the accessible routes in the Northeast part of the campus, including: Jorgenson Hall, Gerrard Street, Sally Horsfall Eaton Centre (SHE), Eric Palin Hall (EPH), and the Rogers Communication Centre (RCC).
Video 3 features the accessible pathways connecting the Library, Podium (POD) and Jorgenson Hall (JOR), as well as the connecting routes between the Student Campus Centre (SCC) and Oakham House.

Single Stall Washrooms
There are over 45 single stall, all-gender washrooms located across campus.
- Library Building: Accessible washrooms are located on floors 4, 6, 7, 8 and 10 of the library.
- Student Learning Centre: All floors have single stall, all-gender washrooms available.
- Ted Rogers School of Management: All floors have single stall, all-gender washrooms available.
