Soapbox Science 2021
In 2021, we hosted a series of virtual Soapbox Science events (May 31st and June 1st) where our speakers shared research on bugs, batteries and radiation.
Our speakers shared the science research that they do every day with the public in the most delightful way! No powerpoints or lectures - they used fun props, imaginative analogies and mind blowing demonstrations of the work that goes on inside and outside of their labs.
To encourage high school educators to register their classes for our virtual Soapbox Science events during the height of the COVID 19 Pandemic, we designed worksheet (external link, opens in new window) and resources to engage students on a deeper level.
