Governance

The MA program in Public Policy and Administration is a Department-based program housed in the Department of Politics and Public Administration, although faculty from several Departments / Schools are active in the program.

The principal governance document is a  (PDF file) bylaw (opens in new window)  that is adopted by the Program Council, the Dean of Arts, the Yeates School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Program Council, and the Senate of the University.

The bylaw establishes a Program Council, sets out its membership (Article 3) and sets out the composition and mandate of a number of Standing Committees (Article 8). Below is the structure of the Council and the Executive Committee. For other committee membership, consult the program.
