Biography
Before enrolling in the Master of Digital Media program at TMU, Simone graduated from The University of Western Ontario in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media, Information, and Technoculture, and a Certificate in Digital Communications. While studying at Western University, Simone’s interest in the various ways that technology can be used to facilitate seamless communication grew, and she became keen on continuing her education through pursuing a postgraduate degree in a similar field.
Having taken a wide range of relevant courses during her undergraduate career, Simone remains highly interested in digital communications and digital marketing, and looks forward to applying the skills that she gains in the MDM program to her future professional endeavors.
Why Digital Media?
With a solid foundation in this area, I chose the Master of Digital Media program at TMU because I wanted to expand my knowledge and build upon the learning that I gained at Western University. As someone who is fascinated by this field and eager to learn about new media, I was excited to be part of a program that would be academically challenging, while also surrounding myself with like-minded individuals who share this passion. As such, the MDM program aligns with my current skillset, as well as my academic goals and prospective career path.
