Biography
Konrad Karczewski is a Toronto-based educator, musician, and multimedia designer with over a decade of experience teaching music, audio, and interactive media. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music and a Diploma in Multimedia Design and Development. He currently teaches digital audio and multimedia design at Humber Polytechnic, where he guides students through projects involving sound design, podcasts, video, and interactive installations.
His creative practice spans music composition, game development, and interactive audiovisual work. He has developed and released an independent video game on Steam, created interactive installations for gallery contexts, and collaborated on projects involving augmented reality, generative systems, and real-time audio-visual performance.
Why Digital Media?
Drawing on his background as a musician and teacher, Konrad’s graduate research explores how computational tools and machine learning can support music education, compositional exploration, and creative decision-making without replacing human authorship.
