Biography
Gavin Elzinga is a digital media artist and designer whose work blends projection mapping, cinematic video, and interactive storytelling. With a background in photography and UX design, he brings a practical, visually driven approach to creating immersive experiences. His projects range from large-scale concert visuals to client-focused video and photo work for brands, artists, and local businesses. Gavin’s strength is turning abstract ideas into clear, engaging media that connects with audiences in a direct and meaningful way.
Why Digital Media?
I chose digital media because I wanted to stretch my skills beyond what I was already doing in photography, videography, and UX. I’m at a point where I want to build stronger portfolio pieces, take on projects with a bigger scope, and learn how to navigate an industry that’s changing fast with new tools and AI. I’m also interested in the industry partnership side of the program. I want real experience collaborating with professionals and shaping work that can actually go somewhere.
