
Nadine Watson
Nadine Watson is Legal Counsel in the office of the General Counsel and Board Secretariat. Before joining Toronto Metropolitan University, Nadine gained valuable experience in both the public and private sectors. She began her legal career at a Legal Aid Ontario clinic, where she practiced administrative and human rights law, supporting clients with mental health and substance use challenges. She also co-counseled a case challenging the constitutionality of encampment evictions. She then transitioned to private practice advising healthcare employers on employment, human resources, and human rights matters. She now applies her practical and client-centered legal expertise in her role at Toronto Metropolitan University. Nadine holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts (Criminology) degree from York University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa.
