*The Economics Help Centre will not be open this Fall 2021 term. All office hours will be virtual - meeting links will be provided by course TAs or posted on D2L.
The Economics Help Centre is in room LIB-549 which is located on the 5th floor of the library building. We share the room with the Faculty of Community Services Academic Support and Resource Centre.
The Economics Help Centre
- supports Toronto Metropolitan University students in all programs with their economics skills,
- currently offers drop-in tutoring sessions for individuals and small groups.
Almost all economics courses with fifty or more students are assigned a teaching assistant and all economics courses with a hundred or more students are assigned at least two teaching assistants. Our teaching assistants are students who are registered in either our MA in International Economics and Finance or PhD in Economics programs. We have over thirty teaching assistants working for a minimum of two hours per week at the Economics Help Centre. During the posted hours for your economics course, simply show up at the Economics Help Centre and there will be tutors available to help you.
Students will find our course management policies and information on helpful resources in the Economics Student Handbook.
